Titan Arum, 'the tallest flower in the world', flowered at the Dundee University Botanic Garden. It flowers only once every 3 to 5 years, but the flower lasts only for 1 or 2 days. The university circulated Tomo's photo in the Staff Newsletter.

Our new research paper has been published online in Current Biology. Eykelenboom JK, Gierlinski M, Yue Z and Tanaka TU. Nuclear exclusion of condensin I in prophase coordinates mitotic chromosome reorganization to ensure complete sister chromatid resolution.
